THE NATIONALS - PRIVACY NOTICE

Who we are

This list is run by Nissi Ogulu ("Nissi", "we"). The data controller is Spaceship Collective, on behalf of Nissi. Contact: hello@onaspaceship.com.

What we collect

• Your email address (required).
• Your first name, city or town, and mobile number (all optional).
• How you found the sign-up page (for example Instagram or a show), recorded automatically.
• When you signed up and what you agreed to.
• Basic email activity (whether you open or click emails).

Why we collect it, and our legal basis

We use your details to email you, and if you gave a mobile number to text you, news about Nissi: releases, shows, tickets and related updates. We do this only with your consent. City helps us tell you about shows near you.

Who sees it

Your data is stored with our email provider, Kit (ConvertKit), which processes it for us. Kit may handle data outside the UK, including in the United States. When it does, transfers are covered by the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where needed, standard contractual clauses with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, under Kit's data processing addendum. We don't sell your data or pass it to anyone else for their marketing.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If you haven't opened our emails for around 12 months we may remove you.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. You can also ask us to see, correct or delete your data, or to stop using it, by contacting hello@onaspaceship.com. If you're unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Texts

If you give us your mobile number you agree to receive text messages about Nissi's music, shows and tickets. You can tell us to stop at any time and we will stop. [PLACEHOLDER: text message provider not chosen yet. Name it here and list it as a processor before any texts are sent.]
